Alex Dahl was born in Oslo, Norway, and is half American, half Norwegian, fully Francophile, and London resident. Alex is the author of The Boy at the Door, published in 2018. The Heart Keeper, Playdate, Cabin Fever and After She’d Gone. She holds an MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University, as well as an MSc in Business Management. Paul Finch was born in Lancashire. UK. is an ex-cop and journalist turned bestselling author. He began his writing career on the British television series The Bill. He has written over 300 short stories which have appeared in magazines, such as the All Hallows, the magazine of the Ghost Story Society and Black Static. He is the author of the ongoing series featuring DS Mark Heck Heckenberg novels. Paul lives in Lancashire with his wife and business-partner, Cathy.

Robert Scragg is a northerner and has had a random mix of jobs to date, including bookseller, pizza deliverer, Karate instructor, and Football Coach. He originally intended to join the legal profession, but after getting his degree, ended up with a job in Telecoms. His first novel, What Falls Between the Cracks was the first in the Porter & Styles series. Robert lives in Tyne & Wear, with his wife, children.  Robert is also a founding member of the North East Noir crime writers which meets regularly to discuss each other’s WIP’s, offer/receive feedback & chat about all things crime fiction related.

Alison Bruce was born in Croydon and grew up in Wiltshire. She had moved to the Cambridge area in 1998 and decided to make it the backdrop for the books because of its unique mix of characteristics. She writes the DC Gary Goodhew / Cambridge Blue series and has also written two standalone novels, I Did It for Us and The Moment before Impact. Alison has a first-class BSc (Hons) in Crime and Investigative Studies and works with the Eastern region police forces. Her next novel, Because She Looked Away, will be published in spring 2023.
