This is the latest book from Steve Mosby. Winner of
the CWA Dagger in the library 2012.
DI Zoe Dolan is
tracking the Creeper – a stalker who’s been breaking into women’s homes and
attacking them; no pattern, no clue as to how he’s getting in, and no clue as
to who’s next.
A volunteer at a
help line, Jane Webster gets a call. What she hopes is a hoax turns out to be
the lead Zoe needs – but, it only puts her further into a case that is already
taking her dangerously close to the past she’s never fully escaped.
This book is so
well written. I read it enthralled. When I’d finished reading the last page the
first thing I did was turn back to page one. The first time of reading you’re involved,
encapsulated by the story, characters and surroundings, the second time – the
details, plot, still had me engrossed with an occasional, Ah, yes, moments.
I’m eager to read
more from this exciting author.

Nicky Cooper Brown
Steve Mosby
lives and works in Leeds. He is the author of The Third Person, The Cutting
Crew, The 50/50 Killer, Cry For Help, Still Bleeding and Black Flowers. His novels have been
translated widely.
Nicky Cooper Brown came
late to this game we call writing. Growing up, up North, she was always praised
for her talents with her hands, rather than her mind, she harboured an artistic
flair often drawing and painting into the night. It wasn't until she moved
south to the Beautiful picturesque New Forest that she took pen to paper so to
speak. Now Nicky enjoys writing short stories and articles and has a funny and
light hearted style, but when it comes to her novels she displays a darker side
and a taste for psychological thrillers.
