D.V. Bishop writes award-winning historical
thrillers set in Renaissance Florence during the reign of the murderous Medici. His first Cesare Aldo mystery, City of Vengeance, won the NZ Booklovers Award for best adult novel, was shortlisted for the Wilbur Smith Adventure Writing Prize, and longlisted for the 2022 CWA Gold and Historical Daggers. His next novel is Ritual of Fire, a scorching tale of burning injustice and revenge, published this June by Pan Macmillan.
A.A. Chaudhuri is the author of The Scribe and The Abduction, and two psychological thrillers published by Hera, She’s Mine and The Loyal Friend. Alex recently signed with Hera for three more psychological thrillers; The Final Party will be published in May 2023. After gaining a degree in History at UCL, Alex trained as a solicitor and worked for several City law firms before turning to thriller writing. She lives in Surrey with her family.
L.F. Robertson has written three novels,
Two Lost Boys, Madman Walking, and Next of Kin. Like her protagonist in her novels, Janet Moodie, she is a practicing lawyer who represents death row inmates in their appeals and in her spare time tends a struggling garden and orchard. Linda
Stratmann is the
author of three crime
fiction series with Victorian settings. Linda’s current
series The Early Casebook of Sherlock Holmes, shows a youthful Holmes,
before he knew Watson, becoming the legendary detective. In the Bayswater
mysteries Frances Doughty combats wily criminals and prejudice against lady
detectives. In Brighton, diminutive Mina Scarletti exposes fraudulent spirit
mediums. Linda’s 32 books also include biography and true crime, notably a
history of nineteenth century poison murder.
Tracy Darnton is the author of three Young Adult psychological thrillers set in the UK: Ready or Not, The Rules and The Truth About Lies. A former solicitor, she has an MA in Writing for Young People from Bath Spa Uni and enjoys teaching creative writing and mentoring. She’s mad about board games and escape rooms. Tracy lives in a quiet village near Bath where she dreams up unusual deaths and her killer endings. Website:
