Martin Edwards is
the author of 21 novels, including the Lake District Mysteries and the Rachel

Samantha
Lee Howe is the USA TODAY bestselling author of The Stranger In

Vaseem
Khan
is the author of two award-winning crime series set in India. His debut, The
Unexpected Inheritance of Inspector Chopra, was a Sunday Times 40 best
crime novels published 2015-2020 pick. In 2021, Midnight at Malabar
House, the first in the Malabar House novels set in
1950s Bombay, won the Crime Writers Association Historical
Dagger. Vaseem co-hosts the popular crime fiction podcast, The Red Hot
Chilli Writers.

Donna
Moore, CrimeFest’s co-host, also works as a
literacy tutor for marginalised and vulnerable women, facilitates creative
writing workshops and has a PhD in creative writing around women’s history and
gender-based violence. Her first novel, Go To Helena Handbasket won the
Lefty Award for most humorous crime fiction novel and her second novel, Old
Dogs, was shortlisted for both the Lefty and Last Laugh Awards. Her short
stories have been published in various anthologies.
Maxim
Jakubowski is an established novelist, ex-publisher, critic and translator,
owner of London's erstwhile Murder One bookshop, and is currently the Chair of
the Crime Writers' Association. His more recent books are the Black is the
Night anthology and his short story collection Death Has A
Thousand Faces. He is an Executive Producer on the forthcoming Factory
