Trish Finnegan is the author of Blue Bird, Blue Sky and Baby Blues (due out later this year), published by Burning Chair. She comes from the Wirral Peninsula, and is a former police officer and a serving magistrate. She is married to Paul who she met at the police station where they were both serving. She has three children, six grandchildren, and an overactive imagination

Peter Guttridge has written 18 crime novels and reviewed countless others for the posh and not-so-posh newspapers (remember newspapers?).  He currently has a two book deal for mystery thrillers about 18th century smugglers in Sussex and Kent, the first of which will be published at the end of 2023.

Michael Ridpath used to work as a bond trader in the City of London. After writing several financial thrillers, which were published in over thirty languages, he began a crime series featuring the Icelandic detective Magnus Jonson, the latest of which is Death in Dalvik. He has also written five standalone historical thrillers. He lives in London.

Michael Stanley is the writing team of Michael Sears and Stanley Trollip. Their Detective Kubu novels are set in Botswana. The 8th, A Deadly Covenant, was released in 2022. They wrote a thriller about rhino poaching, Dead of Night, set in South Africa,featuring investigative journalist Crystal Nguyen. Stanley also wrote a Crystal Nguyen thriller, Wolfman, set in Minnesota. Michael Stanley won a Barry Award and were finalists for other awards including an Edgar and an ITW award.

Caro Ramsay was born in Glasgow and started writing The Anderson and Costello series during a long spell in hospital but recently started a new series with Severn/Canongate featuring DCI Christine Caplan. To aid her crime writing she studied for a diploma in Forensic Medical Science. With Douglas Skelton and Michael Malone, Caro Ramsay is part of the Carry On Sleuthing crime writers’ acting troupe who take performance art to totally new depths.
