Chris Curran has published six novels with Harper Collins (including The Guesthouse as Abbie Frost). She is also a prolific short story writer and has twice been shortlisted for the CWA Margery Allingham award. A huge fan of Daphne Du Maurier, Barbara Vine and Patricia Highsmith, Chris writes dark psychological suspense. Her latest novel, When the Lights Go Out, is set in the atmospheric Forest of Dean and inspired by her spectacularly unsuccessful acting career.
Caroline England, known as the ‘Duchess of dark domestic noir’, is the CWA Dagger shortlisted author of psychological suspense novels Beneath the Skin, top ten bestseller My Husband’s Lies, Betray Her, Truth Games and The Sinner. The Stranger Beside Me follows in August. As CE Rose she has written gothic-tinged psychological thrillers The House of Hidden Secrets, The House on the Water’s Edge, The Shadows of Rutherford House and The Attic at Wilton Place.

L.C. North studied psychology at university before pursuing a career in Public Relations. Her first book club thriller - The Ugly Truth - combines her love of psychology and her fascination with the celebrities in the public eye. L.C. North is currently working on her second novel, and when she's not writing, she co-hosts the crime thriller podcast, In Suspense. L.C. North lives on the Suffolk borders with her family.
Alex Stone is an accountant from the West Midlands, who uprooted her life to pursue her dream of living by the sea and becoming a writer. Alex has a keen interest in psychology, and her novels examine how situations in the past can shape a person for the better and the worst. Her most recent book is The Good Patient,was published 22 March 2023.
B.A. Paris is a Franco/British author of psychological thrillers. Her debut Behind Closed Doors was a publishing phenomenon, selling over 3.5 million copies worldwide. Her second novel The Breakdown was adapted into a film in 2022, due to be screened in 2023. Behind Closed Doors has been optioned for a film, and a screenplay for The Therapist is currently being written. Her books have been translated into 40 languages.
