CrimeFest: 2024 : Columbo : Just One More Thing......

G.T. Karber grew up in Arkansas, the son of a judge and a civil rights attorney. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas with a degree in mathematics and English literature before gaining a MFA from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. As the General Secretary of the Hollywood Mystery Society, he has staged more than thirty immersive whodunits in the Los Angeles area.


Vaseem Khan is the author of two award-winning crime series set in India. His debut, The Unexpected Inheritance of Inspector Chopra, was a Sunday Times 40 best crime novels published 2015-2020 pick. In 2021, Midnight at Malabar House, the first in the Malabar House novels set in 1950s Bombay, won the Crime Writers Association Historical Dagger. In 2023, Vaseem was elected the Chair of the 70-year-old UK Crime Writers Association. Vaseem was born in England.

Laura Lippman was a reporter for twenty years, including twelve years at The (Baltimore) Sun. She began writing novels while working fulltime and published seven books about "accidental PI" Tess Monaghan before leaving daily journalism in 2001. Her work has been awarded the Edgar ®, the Anthony, the Agatha, the Shamus, the Nero Wolfe, Gumshoe and Barry awards.

Adrian Muller
graduated from the Reinwardt Academy for Museology in Holland. After moving to Bristol he worked at Watershed Media Centre, subsequently becoming a journalist specialising in interviews with crime writers, also editing four Times’ Crime & Thriller Guides. Adrian organised events for London’s Crime in Store bookshop, was a co-founder of Manchester’s Dead on Deansgate festival and the International Thriller Writers organisation. Having co-hosted Left Coast Crime’s 2006 Bristol visit, the hosts continued the US convention as CrimeFest.
