Tana Collins is the Edinburgh based author of the critically acclaimed and international bestselling Inspector Jim Carruthers series set in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife, Scotland and published by Bloodhound Books. Her novels have been described as character driven with hugely emotional plots, which she loves. Having written five Inspector Jim Carruthers books, she is currently working on a brand new cosy crime series.
Mark Ellis is a former barrister and entrepreneur. He is the creator of DCI Frank Merlin, a Scotland Yard detective working in WW2 London. There are currently five published books in the series, shortly to be joined by a sixth, Death Of An Officer (published by Headline on May 29th). Ellis is also a frequent contributor to history magazines and podcasts, mainly specialising in the subject of British WW2 crime.
Sólveig Pálsdóttir has written eight crime novels and one memoir. Four of her crime novels have been published in English (translator, Quentin Bates); The Fox, Silenced, Harm and Shrouded. Silenced was awarded Best Icelandic Crime Novel of the Year and the book was also Iceland's contribution to the Glass Key, the Nordic crime fiction award. Sólveig's writing style is characterized by strong character creation, well-thought-out plots and a instinctive feeling for Icelandic society and nature.
Stanley Trollip
writes with Michael Sears as Michael Stanley. Their Detective Kubu novels are
set in Botswana. The ninth will be out later this year. They also wrote a
thriller about rhino poaching, Dead of Night, set in South Africa,
featuring investigative journalist Crystal Nguyen. Stanley also wrote a Crystal
Nguyen thriller, Wolfman, set in Minnesota. They won a Barry Award and
were finalists for other awards including an Edgar and an ITW award.
Jeffrey Siger fled his position as a name partner in his own NYC law firm to write Greece-based mystery thrillers on Mykonos. The New York Times picked him as Greece’s thriller novelist of record, and Reader’s Digest Select Editions described him as among its “new favorite authors.” He’s received Lefty and Barry “Best Novel” nominations for his CI Andreas Kaldis series, been Chair of Bouchercon, and served as an adjunct college professor teaching mystery writing.
