Mystery Fest 2024

will be talking about the role of real
Scene of Crime Officers. (CSI)

 

Carol Westron will moderate a panel about adapting books tofilms or television. Joined by Jeff Dowson who has considerable knowledge in this field with his experience as a screenwriter.Maybe he can throw some light to make sense of some of the thingsthat television screenwriters/producers do to books.

On the theme of ‘What’s in a Name’ Carol will give a short talk on the names chosen by some of the illustrious crime fiction authors of the 20th century followed by a panel discussing the speakers' choices of character names.

As in previous years there will be a bookstall manned by
Hayling Island Books.
