Malice Domestic by Marni Graff

 

The 35th Anniversary of Malice Domestic, was attended by close to 500 authors and readers/fans.

In addition to Ann Cleeves for the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Guest of  Honour Hank Phillippi Ryan, the International Guests of Honours were Vaseem Kahn and Abir Mukherjee. At the last moment Abir had to bail as his wife had Covid, but Vaseem flew over and gave a very funny speech.

The Toastmaster who does the Agatha Banquet was Barb Goffman and the Fan Guest of Honor Tonya Spratt-Williams.
The Amelia Award went to Luci Zahray, "the poison lady." And ‘Malice Remembers’ honours a passed author, and this year it was
Elizabeth Peters.

There were multiple panels and interviews Friday, Saturday and a half day Sunday. Malice ends with a tea on Sunday afternoon. And as a treat for those who arrive on Thursday evening, we watched a new epis"Murdoch Mysteries" and then had a Q/A session with Maureen Jennings.

 

Also present Anne Cleeves the author of the DI Vera Stanhope series, 
and Anne's most recent series ‘Shetland’.
