Tracy Darnton is the author of three Young Adult psychological thrillers set in the UK: Ready or Not, The Rules and The Truth About Lies. A former solicitor, she has an MA in Writing for Young People from Bath Spa Uni and enjoys teaching creative writing and mentoring. She’s mad about board games and escape rooms. Tracy lives in a quiet village near Bath where she dreams up unusual deaths and her killer endings.

Elly Griffiths is the author of the bestselling Dr Ruth Galloway series, the Brighton Mysteries and three stand-alone crime novels. She won the 2020 Edgar Award for The Stranger Diaries and, in 2016, was awarded the CWA Dagger in The Library. The 15th Ruth book, The Last Remains, published in January 2023, was a Sunday Times bestseller. Elly also writes the Justice Jones mystery series for children.

Teri Terry is an award-winning, international bestselling author of young adult thrillers including Slated and Contagion. Her latest is Scare Me, a ghost story out with Hodder in the UK in June 2023. She is also turning her hand to adult psychological thrillers and news there will be coming very soon!

Nicki Thornton writes a ‘wickedly funny and wildly original haunted whodunit’ crime fiction series set in a magical world. Her books have sold in 15 countries and have received award nominations including the Carnegie Medal, the CrimeFest Best Crime Novel for Children & Specsavers National Book Awards. Her debut was Waterstones’ book of the month. She was a bookseller for over 10 years and is a huge supporter of anything that promotes reading for pleasure.


C.S. Green is an award-winning and Sunday Times/ USA Today bestselling author for both adults and young people. She has published twelve books; under her own name, as Cass Green and as Caroline Green. Her latest book is the supernatural thriller The Whisper House. Caroline is the Writer in Residence at East Barnet School and Pentonville Prison. She also runs courses for City University and Writers and Artists Yearbook.
